Lace walked in slowly, blossoms falling on her back as she went to graze on the sweet grass in the middle of the clearing. She put her head down and her mane fell over her face as she ate. She lifted her head and sighed when a sparrow flew past with it's mate.

Lace twisted her head and looked his way with her one good eye. She was very timid of other horses.
