The colt awoke slowly and looked around, he looked at the mare and whinnied happily, he felt nothing wrong, he wobbled to his knees and tried to stand.

Sahara cried and fell to her knees.

Jacquard shook with rage. His sister........how dare she.......he was on the point of murder. He shouted on the top of his lungs "So, dear sister, you take my foal because no stallion would want you? I am disgusted...........maybe you should stop being a bitter twisted old fool!" his eyes sparkled. She was no sister of his.........she was a coward, forever hiding behind her fancy disguises.........

(-.- woah lyra makes me angry........what kind of mare transforms and steals another mare's foal? a wierd one..)

Sahara fell to her side and slowly stopped crying "Im...sorry Jacquard..." she whispered to him, she closed her eyes.

Jacquard nuzzled her "It is ok........it is not your fault........shhh" he hummed a little tune to calm her down. Jacquard pounded up the mountain and grabbed the foal's scruff and pulled him towards his mother, behind him.

The colt's eyes widened, he stayed quiet, but scared then saw Sahara, he felt like she was his mother, he just looked at her.

Sahara smiled and nuzzled the colt, tears trickled down her face.

Jacquard faced his sister "You are a beautiful mare, but that doesn't mean that you steal my foals. I am asking you to leave my territory and go elsewhere" he snorted and looked at her.

The colt laid at Sahara's hooves and looked at them as they spoke.

The colt jumped up, still a bit wobbily, he trotted after Sahara then walked beside her.

Jacquard turned suddenly and looked at her "It's nothing to worry about........". His eyes brightened and he looked at the little colt "Merlin..?". He looked misty eyed as he came closer......"One blue eye!" he pointed to the colt's face "just like Merlin.......".

He wanted to live.........plus my sister suggested it........she wasn't so bad you know....." he snorted and looked at the lovely mare and the cute foal "Come now, let us go back to the clearing."

"Wasnt so bad?!" she snapped and didnt move, her ears laid flat and her teath bared "She beat me close to death!! This colt almost died aswell! How is that not bad?!!" she snorted then looked down quickly "I...Im sorry" she said as she closed her eyes.

Chance watched his parents speak, he flicked his tail happily.

Jacquard sigh and looked at Sahara "She was once the prettiest and smartest filly in the bunch and I cannot blame her for being vengeful". He looked at Chance and listened to a wolf howl in the distance.
